Previously unknown recordings: How Andy Warhol made a career as a model

Most people know Andy Warhol as an artist, filmmaker and publisher. The fact that he also pursued a career as a model may come as a surprise to many. American photographer Christopher Makos, with whom Warhol was a close friend and who worked together in his Factory, has now published a book documenting this aspect of Warhol's career. "Andy Modeling Portfolio Makos", the title of the approximately 175-page work, shows photos of Warhol that were intended for a kind of model portfolio. The artist himself described Christopher Makos as "America's most modern photographer"
