To conclude our impressive exhibition that covers one of New York City’s most thriving artistic periods, photographer Christopher Makos will discuss his iconic photos with Dr. Franziska Kunze, photography curator at Munich’s Pinakothek der Moderne. Through his photography, highly acclaimed American photographer Christopher Makos documented the life and career of one of the 20th century’s most significant artists, Andy Warhol. These photographs are a window to a period of extraordinary artistic creativity in New York, the United States, and the world. The iconic works of Christopher Makos reflect the reach and importance of contemporary American art over the last five decades. His photographs have been shown in museums and galleries around the world.
